Exclamation car still wont start someone please help...

after reinstalling my ecu, is there any reason why my car would stall immediately after starting other than the 3 minute sync up time? it hasnt started in about a week now so any help would be great...

What kind of work did you do to require removing the ECU? Something is still disconnected..

idk i went to 3 autozones before i took out my ecu and none of them could connect to my car, i thought it was because of the ecu (which was why i tried to replace it) but now i'm pretty sure its becaue of my head unit. it started fine until i took the ecu out and now it starts then stalls the same way in the same amount of time everytime. there is no hesitation or sputtering, it just dies out.

How many seconds? Most cars have a cutout for the fuel and spark if the ECU doesnt see a crank or cam signal in like 2 seconds. I'd start there.

you should first figure out a way to read the codes. that will make figuring stuff out infinitely easier.

If you think it's the head unit all you have to do is slide it out using the keys that came with it (two metal tabs) to release it from its cage. Then check and see if either a solid blue or a blue/white wire is connected to the harness. If it is, cut it between the harness and the radio, crimp the exposed wire, and slide your head unit back in. OBD should now be functioning.

2 seconds seems about right...its just odd that it happened right after i swapped the ecus back and forth
