carputer?
Has anyone installed a carputer with a screen where the stock radio is? I'm trying to think where would you put the screen with a aftermarket head unit where the OEM radio was? and have a screen that looks factory?
Same principle applies. You can still mount the screen in that location, and mount the cpu underneath the seat - although there is very little room under there. I've seen them mounted in the trunk with a long video cable running to the screen on the center console.
If you're looking to do a HU and carputer screen in the console, then you willhave to re-locate the climate controls and create mounting brackets for both devices - as well as a new radio facia.
