CD Changer stop working

Question CD Changer stop working

Ok so i got out of my car and shut it off with the cd player goin and when i got back in and started it up it was on stereo so i pushed the mode button and it only goes from tape to stereo i checked the back of the cd changer and its hooked up fine i took out the cds and put different ones in and it still wont work any suggestions thx =) also i was gonna unplug the cd changer and plug back in but didnt know if i should??

It's worth a shot!

Maybe even try wiping all the connections with rubbing alcohol or use electrical cleaner. If you have radio removal keys, you might try the same thing on the back of the head unit.

i have the same problem, a friend of mine mentioned maybe checking a fuse?

my cd player completly took a ****, i even got the key card thing from the dealership b/c now my cd changer in the back wont do anything not even come out , the key card did nothing. im thinking of taking the whole thing out and putting a sub in its place. good thing i have a ipod jack
