CEL came on, heres the code... and more
P0302, I had Auto Zone check it for me.
My car is a 1999.5 A4 1.8T manual, 128,000 miles. All stock, one previous owner, local dealer records (and I continue to take it to them), new TB etc, running synthetic and I completely avoid E10 gas.
Though I feel I have treated her pretty well over the last three years, several things are starting too go wrong. ABS and Brake lights been on a while (I assume the ABS module has gone bad, I'll send one from the Audi wrecking yard to be rebuilt and replace it, yeah?). Small rear diff leak, front passenger side ball joint or control arm worn out i forget, front driver side boot torn and the clutch is slipping. Uhh
So, anyways, two days ago I was stopped waiting to merge off of the freeway, and I noticed my car was running rough. I then noticed the CEL was FLASHING, and as I tried to accelerate there was a severe loss of power and the car shook pretty bad. I immediately thought... misfire, I carefully drove home and parked in the garage. This evening I had it towed to auto zone to check the fault codes then dropped it at the dealer.
I was surprised that only one fault code showed up cause ABS, Brake and CEL are on. I would like to get some advice from the community here and compare to what the stealership tells me.
Thanks for any advice,
long time lurker, Dave

If your car has an ignition control module, it might need replacing.
The spark plug and coil for cylinder 2 might need replacing.
Swap the ignition coil with another cylinder, to see it the code changes.
