whats up guys.. ive got a 1996 2.8 and i just coded it and it had one code it was P1407 EGR Temp.Sensor Signal too Low...

this just simple as replacing the coolant temp sensor?

not a valid code, but I would say just replace the CTS

EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) is NOT ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature). EGR refers to the EGR valve, AKA the combi-valve, kombi-valve, or secondary air injection valve. It has nothing to do with the ECT sensor.

That code is telling you the valve or lines to the valve are likely clogged.
