Default Center armrest

So one of the pegs on my center armrest broke off. I have tried every glue I can think of. The cheapest I can find them is like 150 bucks. I have been looking for part outs but there haven't been many and the ones I have found are already taken. Anybody know where I could find one for less than 150 bucks?

Same thing happened to me on my 97, I just gave up trying to glue it lol. I'll go to hell before I pay $150 for an arm rest lid. Did you call shokan?

I don't know the correct word for this glue, but roughly translated it's "double-component glue". So basically the sort of glue in which you mix the two ingredients together to form this very strong glue. Got it? That ought to hold anything in place.

2-part epoxy stuff like JB weld should work if the hinge(s) isn't shattered.

In case you don't know how it happened, it's common for change or junk to fall into the depths of the hinges when you pull the whole arm rest up and out of the way. Then when you put it back down and open the lid there's stuff wedged in there and the hinges snap. A total numb-skulled design much like a few other items on our lovely cars.

Both of my hinges have broken, I haven't bothered putting them back together, but the armrest works fine without the hinges in place. If it didn't work, I would fix it.
