Hey guys i really want to make my car stand out in little ways what are some cheap things i can do to jazz up my Audi a4 1999 2.8Q. I want to keep the modifications around 100 bucks each but if you have ideas that are a little above then throw them out there but please help. One of my friends has something where the lighting on the inside of the car beats with the music its sick. I want some cool stuff please give ideas

 

Don't get lights that pulse to the beat.. Do you have a 99 or 99.5? If a 99 you could get some facelift projector headlights. For cheap you could get black plastidip and black out the trim of your front grille. Or for under $20 you could get chome trim for the outside of your lower grille :



Or get taillight spray and tint/red out your tails for less than $20. LED license plate bulbs for ~$10 (such a nice upgrade). Ebay short shifter if you have a 5 speed (also such a nice upgrade!). Debadge the trunk for free. Get some coool stickers Save up for coilovers!!

Just some cheap ideas to help you stand out. Another free thing you could do is use the search bar.

 

well im not really sure if i have the 99 or 99.5 how can i tell? and i want to debadge so bad but im affraid that there will be color difference from the years of the sun on it. and taillight spray huh? lemme google that haha

99.5 is when the facelift A4's started. Pretty much is noticeably different (headlights, added lower fogs, grille, taillights, interior, badge locations, etc.) http://ctny.audiworld.com/mark/a4/diff/
Pay attention to who you're talking to in your threads! I'm the one that just sent you that link in your headlights thread. The headlights I had in that picture are those ones but the black version.

Your car is really clean. They would look fine I think. You should get clear/smoked side markers for the fender turn signals. The orange is so not good looking. You should also look through b5 galleries and such for inspiration rather than asking for suggestions.

 

So basically for the price of those headlights i should get them? because i think it said 50 bucks thats like cheap and it would do ALOT to the look of my car. and thanks for compliment

 

I think you would probably like them... I'd say get them mainly because I think they look better than the stock prefacelift headlights (but almost anything does..) and you could probably sell your stock ones for at least $50 anyway...
