The stock b5 a4 with the 2.8 v6 quattro has a 0-60 time of 7.4 seconds...according to Wikipedia, at least. But i attempted to beat that time a few times, and once going downhill as well. on flat land, my 0-60 was around 8.2 seconds on average, and downhill it was 7.4.

I would like to get that down to 5 seconds, or maybe better, if possible. i want to avoid putting a turbo or anything like that in my car (maybe NOS ). i dont really have a set budget, i just want to know the cheapest ways to increase my acceleration without swapping the engine or something like that.

I should say, i don't care too much about the top speed, i haven't ever gone faster than 115 in my car and i know its capable of exceeding that.

 

Well if this is a 12v (pre 98) than your pretty much outta luck but if its the 30v you could supercharge it probably gonna be your best bet for making it quicker

 

buy a chip for it it will get you from 250hp -307hp pretty good accelaration

You know of some super chip? The chips for the 2.8 give a whole 10-15hp gains... not 100! What ever your smoking I want some!
