What's a cheap stereo system I can swap in my 2001 A4? I'm not looking for anything fancy, but I'd like aux/iPod connectivity and that's it. Are there things I should look out for when hooking up a new stereo?

 

There are adapters that replace your CD changer, or if your savy, you can splice in an aux jack

 

I think I'll just do the splice. I bought this car and it came with a shonky Chinese dvd player that I honestly cannot begin to understand its purpose. Will the Symphony II fit perfectly into the 2001 if I snag one off ebay?

this is cheaper than any unit on ebay i believe, and its brand new. do some research if it will fit your year cuz i am not sure
