Cheap Wheels-OE Wheel Distributors (What's the catch?)
While searching the forums I always see a flash add for OE Wheels LLC www.oewheelsllc.com and today I decided to click on it. They have a lot of wheels and nice style. Normally a good wheel runs 4$00-$600$ per wheel, but as listed on the site, you can get 4 wheels at a total sale price of $529, http://www.oewheelsllc.com/Audi-Whee...39279-2-1.html The ad says price is for set of 4.
So what gives and what's the catch? I know these are reps, but how they be so cheap?
Has anyone ordered from here? (experiences/stories?)
How can these be so much cheaper than i.e. Hartmann wheels? (alloy, not forged)

i dont really know what your complaining about. hell id buy some from them. thats a decent deal. i know tirerack has some good deals on wheels too. some rims on their site or only 169 a piece. the link you have listed is a fairly common rep that alot of people go for. i dont think youll have any trouble with fitment as the size and offset is about as common as you can get on here.
They are replicas. Soft, crappy alloys are cast in china and painted in Italy. As long as they are round when they come in and the customer service is good, the price is fair.
Hartmann wheels are supposedly higher quality and are cast and finished in Italy. Who knows these days.
Like I said, round, hold air, price is fair. But don't expect OEM or BBS quality.
