Hey guys my check engine light came on last night out of the random and was wondering if you guys can lead me in the right direction to get it fixed......here is what came up:

(Problem #1)-P0431-Warm up catalyst below threshold (bank 2)

(Problem #3)-P0302-Cylinder 2 misfire detected

sounds like a misfire so clear the code and see if it returns

so your saying it might not be anything wrong and nothing is broken?
I went to advanced auto so how would you clear it then recheck it?

i don't think advanced auto will clear your code for you. what you need to do is go to ebay and get a vag com cable and hook it up to your laptop and scan your car that way. also check your spark plugs.

a code can be cleared sometimes by removing the ground wire and turning on any lights/heated rear window/heater ( why you might ask ) it draws any power stored in the system but it doesn't work all the time
