check engine light
My engine check came on. I used the vag to see what is the problem and this is what came up:
code 16514 Oxygen sensor
B1 S1 Malfunction in circuit
P0130-35-00
I did some research and this is the only thing that I found out : that there are 2 oxygen sensors, so I don't know which one needs to be replaced. How can I find that out? Do I need to buy both of them?
Also my car is recently feeling like it's goanna die..mainly after I stopped for a while...can it be because one of these sensors or it doesn't have to do with them?
Any help...more than welcomed!

Your O2 sensors can make your car feel like that. Your B!S1 on the 1.8 is in the exhaust system, in pipe at outlet of the catalytic converter. I would try with 1 first since these things are not cheap. However, if you have the money it wouldn't hurt to do both imo only.

B1 S1 means Bank 1, Sensor 1. You have a 1.8T, so you only have 1 bank. Sensor 1 is the upstream O2, the one before the cat. I agree with interceptor, however. Though the second O2 sensor does not affect fuel metering (it's only to monitor cat efficiency), it certainly wouldn't hurt to change it to avoid MILs down the road due to old sensors if it's never been changed.
