Default chipping at altitude

I was told that at my location (denver) that a chip would made very little to no difference. Is this true; I heard that the pickup and flat spot in accelerating would disappear and I really would enjoy that. Let me know!

Being a 2.8 the chip will do very little no matter where you are. Although I think it should still get rid of the damn dead spot. It's weird in mine sometimes its fine other times it feels like its falling on its face. Hmmm maybe my MAF is dirty.
