Climate control issues!

My car hates me.(01 A4 1.8T Q) The outside thermometer changes all the time, one minute it will say 80 then it will goto -54. It is messing with the ac. is there a diy fix? anyone else with this problem?

I would hate to be outside when its -54...You could trick a dumb friend.

Yeah I got my brother with it one day. and we live in FL.
