Well, pulled the instrument cluster and found the blue connector on the drivers side was intermittent. Spread the contact pins a little and plugged it back in. All is working fine now. This gave me a chance to clean out the dust that comes thorugh the adjuster stalks. Wish they had sealed these a little bit.
