Default clutch kits!!!!

hey all just need some advice need to get a new clutch for my 1997 audi a4 1.8 t 20v!(180hp) the previous owner had the car chipped and it seems to have made the way the car delevers the power very aggressive and the standard clutch seems like it would struggle to get the power down it would just spin in all gears? anyways i have now destroyed the clutch and need a new one but iam thinkin maybe get somthing that would handle the power a little better? any ideas/websites ? many thanks!

not sure if you want more holding power but i got a 240mm s4 clutch on the cheap from ecs tuning. i only paid 600 for the whole thing including a single mass flywheel but i believe that kit is up to 800 dollars now. i can launch the car pretty nicely and im chipped. the clutch is supposed to be good to 300 hp.

You must be talking about this $890 kit:
Audi B5 A4 FWD 1.8T > Drivetrain > Clutch > ES#5485 ECS RA4 Clutch Conversion - Stage 1 - RA4S1-STEEL

Is anybody familiar with this kit:
034 Motorsport Audi A4 1.8T 228mm Clutch & Flywheel Package
It's only ~$700 with new bolts and alignment tool, and includes throwout bearing as well. Says it's good for up to 300hp, but I wonder which clutch disk it uses? (IE can the clutch disk alone be replaced at some later time)

Any clutch that's Stage 1 or better should work very well for you.

I just called 034 Motorsport about their clutch that I linked to. The guy on the phone said the flywheel is something they manufacture or have manufactured for them (it's a single mass), and the clutch is OE. He said he put in excess of 300hp through one and it held up fine.

Needless to say I'll be purchasing one very soon... $743 shipped to my door for a clutch and single mass flywheel isn't too bad. Even if my current stock flywheel is fine.
