The clutch is about to go. Same thing happened with mine and it is in the shop right now getting a new one. If you do it right it should only cost about a grand. ONLY A GRAND... Go Southbend they are awesome.

I understand that. My clutch you have to let it almost all of the way out though. I think that this is not normal.

yes it is normal, my old car did it and so does this, and also the a4my buddy and i went to check out last week so he can also becaome an audi driver. and my clutch is relativley new. if you wanna test the cltuch start driving in first and then go strait to 3rd gear and see ifRPMs go up but the car dosent accelerate or the car bogs and accelerates slowly. if rpms up and car no go clutch is bad, is other your good.now tell me if this is normalcan start your carwithout using the clutch, my last car did this and i dont wanna try on this one just something i wanna know. dosent mean anything bad, i think

you can also start the car, push in the clutch start letting it out, and if you hear wierd noises, that means or could mean it is starting to go out

sorry for the guy that is getting ripped for a new clutch, when yours probably wasn't bad

but you are getting a better clutch

i DONT KNOW I HAVE NOT TRIED TO START IT WITH THE CLUTCH NOT BEING ENGAGED. THE RPMS DO NOT GO UP WHEN I DO THAT. THE CAR BOGS DOWN A LOT THOUGH.
