clutch replacement

Default clutch replacement

I am looking to get a new clutch. How much would a shop charge me labor and all

yeah i just got mine done and i drive a 2001 2.8 awd and for parts and labor they charged 1765 out the door

Nothing I just keep forgetting how much that costs. Was that at the stealership I take it? Or an Audi indie?

oh haha that was a local shop and with a 8 puck clutch and pressure plate and trow out bearing and all the labor and that was about 2 weeks right after i bought the car

i got my clutch from mike hood... clutchmaster fx400 1200 ish.... paid 650 for clutch install

buddy of mine just got his TT's clutch done for 1700. OUCH (right after a TB job too, another 950 fleeing the bank account)

they will charge you 7-8 hours for the install, so multiply what the shop charges by that and you get how much the labor is going to cost you.

I was quoted 700-1400 at 3 different shops just for labour. i said **** that and installed it all myself.
