Tein have been around longer and have a much larger following. I like the vmaxx, but i would rather have some teins anyday

well how low do you want to go? I know the vmaxx's can drop you up to 75mm(about 3in) I'm not sure about tein, but if they'll drop you that low, I might have to look into them too.

thanks lazerviking, I'd been wondering about spring rates in Vmaxx for a bit but no body could give me a solid answer, I say we help kemp because you'll also be helping me.

VMAXX spring rate is stock spec rate....they will feel just like your stock suspension....instead of tightening up your ride...it'll feel exactly the same...from what I have heard the VMAXX coilovers for the A4 are trash....they will work, but they are more of a show thing, then a performance enhancer...

if I had to choose between tein and VMAXX...i would choose tein everytime....

I plan on going bilstein w/ a set of race springs...whatever works tho...

gl!

in the few vmaxx cars i've ridden in they felt soft, my h&r's are stiffer, but i think they are still too soft for as low as i am, i wish they had adjustable dampening and such, oh well... maybe on my next set
a couple others because i feel like being a *****
