I've heard Tein's are good for Hondas and other Japanese cars; they're new to the Audi scene. I would go with something that's trusted, like STaSIS. I'll take some pics later of my coilover setup; the ones I initially took and posted were literally same-day, so the springs hadn't settled yet... now that they have, my ride is pretty slammed. Once I get back from college I'll post some up for you.

Tein has been around a long time and are trusted on cars from the street to high hp race cars.

ORIGINAL: Lazer Viking

pretty much any coilover should be able to achive this, mine are up to 2.5" drop, and i still have about an inch and a half of thread left up front

i am honestly not impressed with the stasis street sports, they are nothing more then koni coils with a different name, and a higher sticker price
I like the Stasis street sports, and it is well known that theyARE Konis. The extra $100 is the cost for them being shipped to Stasis, bench-tuned(adjusted)to the dampening settings and ride height thatoffer "optimal" performance on the A4. You could get the Konis (samephysical thing), but you may nothave them set-up right the first time.
Example:
1. You could set the dampening too soft and the ride height too low, causing theshocks to bottom out and making theridequality suck.
or
2.You could have the dampening too firm and ride height too high, causing it to ride and handle like a pick-up truck.

I'm not sayingStasis will come shipped exactly to the settings you want, just that they won't suck if you don't mess with the settings too much while installing them. I wished that I had "investigated" the dampening settings before installing mine, so I could help you all out. Then, everyone could get the Konis and use the settings that others have had good results with.
So, nothing wrong at all with the Konis. Theyare good quality made in the Netherlands, not China. Check out the Tiens thoroughly – call them directly to find out more about their recommended dampening settings, and if/how they are tested on the A4/S4. And don’t confuse the FWD kit with the quattro kit.

The teins and vmaxx's are both nonadjustable. Adjusting the dampening isnt going to be as dramatic as you are making it out to be, same goes for the ride height.

Teins +1

They've also been around on Euro's for a while. Tein actually has a bomb-*** santorin B6 show car displaying their set up.

P.S. I got the same rims as LV and I've only seen a handful of these... they're nice but I wouldn't mind swapping them for your RS4's Turbo Kraut

None of us that know our Travis are surprised.
Don't worry, it's not gonna be a big deal. I lost mine for 30 days when I was 17 too.
