ok had another cold start today looked around more closely. It is the belts making all the noise what can be dont to get this fixed. belts are a few months old they were just recently replaces less then 2k miles ago so its not that they are old or any thing. any thing we can spray on them or check?

most cars do this when its cold
Probably just some type of fluid that got on their or something like coolant from the road or a bit of oil that got splashed onto your belt's by some freak way just let it wear it's self away and if by the end of the week it's not gone then check your belt's and make sure everything is ok

I just started to get a moaning sound on cold days from the power steering system. The first cold day I started it and it moaned at idle and even loader when i turned the wheels but i didn't get any resistance. Checked the fluid and it was full but kind of foamy but no leaks. The next day it warmed up, no problem and it stayed that way for a week. Then the car sat for a few days and when started, no problem. It got cold the next day and the moaning started. I drove above 15 miles and the moaning stopped and didn't appear for a few days. This is perplexing.

are you talking about your timing belt? dont they have teeth? Anyway, there's a spray for those squeeky, whining sounds and its generally called belt dresseing.
