2000 A4 2.8 is having starting problem particularly on cold days. New battery, wires, and cleaned injectors have not solved the problem. No engine codes. You can somtimes start the car after 10 cranks and pumping the pedal. When it starts the engine sputters for a bit and then runs fine. Is this electonic and I have bad module or sensor of some kind?

 

Maybe spark plugs unless you did them when you did the wires...

 

Spark plugs replaced 15 K miles ago. We'll check them. Thanks!!

 

i'll give this a try. Maybe dirty fuel filter or egr valve?
