I ordered a new key fob online and I specified that I needed a two button (the picture on their website was a two button as well) but they sent me a three button! My question is can I use vag-com to program the trunk release button to do something else? If so, what have you guys set it to do? Thanks!

 

uhh, you can probly set it to be like remote start or a window controll

 

I have a barelly used 3 button key that my friend found and I have been trying to make it work with my car and still no luck, if you figure it out, please let me know man.

i dont think you can with manual unless u can bypass the clutch

 

I think if I wanted to remote start I would need to install something. But I don't want to do that I was just thinking maybe roll all the windows up or down. Does anyone know if that can be done? If not I'm just going to send back the key fob and tell them where to stick it....

 

Yeah you would. You can buy a kit, mine came factory.
