Coolant leak

Default Coolant leak

I have a coolant leak its running off by the transmission my question is whats above there so I have a better idea of what im looking for. I've tried to find a diagram and stuff but haven't been able to. Thanks for any help

If it's a 1.8T, there's a flange in back of the engine on the block just above the transmission. Both engines have a plastic coolant tank that is known to crack. There are updated parts available for both of these repairs. Check your local Audi parts department.

haha sorry I should've specified it's a 1.8t is there a write up on this flange? I figure I probably could do it without but its worth looking at if there is one haha

haha I was shocked too I figured at LEAST 30 bucks lol when i went to audi on saturday to buy more coolant I checked out the price on a elbow tube that had gotten a hole in it causing a boost leak...they wanted 30 for that haha so I just got some tubing for 5 bucks and stuck that on there lol
