Couple Quick Questions
I have a '97 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8t standard.
1. I have a Ko4 with no other performance upgrades I am aware of, is 15-18 Psi of boost normal?
2. My Boost Gauge is hooked up in the vacuum line from the intake to the DV, Currently running -10inHG at idle with it all connected, and -21inHG at idle if I plug the tube anywhere between the DV and the boost gauge.
I can blow into the tube connected to the DV and it seems to flow through. Is the DV the cause of my vacuum problem?
3. 0-60 mph is reasonably quick, but after about 80mph it's kind of... slow. could the DV also be to blame? (boost surges when at peak from 14-16 psi in 4/5th)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. no, im guessing you have some sort of chipped ecu to accomodate the k04.
2. that is the wrong way to hook up the boost guage. tap in the fuel pressure regulator line and you will see 21 inches of mercury at idle all the time
3. its slow because you are probably lacking a fine tuned system. not to mention, at those revs, the k04 just runs out of air

Someone on the forum said to blow into the tube that is connected to the DV to see if it is bad. they said something about air shouldn't go both ways, where they wrong? did they mean to say do it when the car is on? Sorry just a little confused because I have some mixed information
