cracked skid plate? can't tell cause the dieselgeek skid plate is in the way.

The stock "skid plate" is a joke.

Panzer skid plate FTW. Get on it donny boy. Saves me everyday.

Regardless, my oil pan is still be susceptible to smaller critters like crows (always wanted to run one of them over).

If only thePanzer Plate wasn't $250... You get what you pay for I suppose, but there are lots of other places $250 could go.

i just went through the same thing with my avant. I've got the 2.8 and changing the pan was a breeze...well it would be if id manage to order the right pan but JB weld cures all. good luck

Do you know the size of the stop sign? I found a website that has them cheap and in different sizes so I'm not sure what would be good.

Well I got the new oil pan on. Got to buy a torque wrench, a low profile jack, and some jack stands. Snapped one of the heads off the bolts on the oil pan though. Everything seems fine and there is no leakage. Lets hope it lasts.

funny this comes back up since yesterday I broke I line under my car do to the lack of skidplate that I said I needed!
