Default creamy sludge

i recently had some exhaust work done and after that i went to have my codes cleared and i keep getting a few codes that werent there previously.
EGR valve Circ Malfunction.
fuel ventilation valve circ malfunction
and last is 02 sensor heater circ. on all 4 02sensor... not my main issue yet.
i removed the egr valve to clean it out along with the throttle body. but in the crank ventilation or whatever the lines are called in the back of the valve covers, well there all a creamy colored sludge in the lines and its in the port of the intake manifold where the egr valve bolts up.
i checked the dipstick and theres no milky oil so i dont think its the head gasket. so my question is whats the sludge crap and the resolution. and if anybody else know the other issues... thanks for your time i appreciate it alot...

yes, oil cooler is behind your oil filter

could also be that stuff that builds up if you only really take your car out for short drives. condensation builds up and eventually fuses with oil particles when the engine isn't brought up to temperature... creates the snot-like substance. happens to me up here in the winter months as i only have a short commute.

Default Same problem

My 96 12 valve is doing the same thing....yellowish snot in the vc and breather lines. I believe that the cranckcase is constantly under a negative pressure which would mean that if you had a VC gasket leak or a bad seal on your oil cap, you may pull moisture into your crankcase and also cause a small vacuum leak as well. I just pulled off my vc's this weekend to find the same yellowish sludge. Fixed the gasket leak and ordered a new oil cap to see if it helps. I'd love to hear someone chime in who has been through this with some more 12v experience to enlighten us. Where's the Devil when u need him!
