Default Cruise Control Works After 20 Minutes of Driving Please HELP!

Ok I know this sounds weird, but it takes my car about 20 minutes for my cruise control to work. Could this be in the switch, or could it be the module behind the glove box needing to heat up? I'm think when I shut off the car, the car needs 20 minutes for it to relearn the car has cruise control?

Please Help!!

Good chance it's the stalk switch. Usually the only time it needs to relearn anything is after the battery is disconnected and reconnected.

Sadly I cleaned my stalk switch (checked it before cleaning, no contact, after cleaning it was making contact) and my cruise control still isn't working. Had the car almost a year and have never been able to use CC in it haha.

Well this is the second stalk I have put in the car (the first was because of the headlight switch went bad). Could it not be when the car heats up inside the CC module starts to work?

It's a possibility. Some of the solder joints in the module could be bad which might either start working after 20 minutes or the warmth allows them to be functional. There is a DIY on CC module repair to fix this, though I don't have access to my bookmarks right now.
