Default By curiosity about ECS shipping..

Hey guys,
I was wondering how much they were charging you guys for shipping items...

Like I wanted to try out the website before making big purchases, so I decided to order a small item like an audi oil filter..
Turns out the shipping is 20$ for a 9$ item.. does it seem resonable? For larger dimensenion purchases, does shipping become even more "resonable"?

All in all, do you guys think Audi dealerships sell it for around 30$? since might as well go get it at the dealership in that case..

Think they do free shipping for larger sales. Least they did for my tb kit and some bushings i got from them. Ive always ran purator oil filters in my car and always loved them, even on dsm's

well
www.autopartswarehouse.com has free shipping on orders over $50 and so does www.autopartsgiant.com
I thinks they are the same entity as they have the same prices and somewhat the same surfing and searching sftware. and when you call, i feel you get the same people. you can also try www.car-stuff.com

well ebay considers canada pretty much like us... just normally a couple dollars extra.. most normal companies will charge more for canada shipping... so i would say thats about right... what u could do though is order something big, like jsut put it in your shopping cart and press check out and it will tell u shipping costs right there before u buy it.. thats what i would do... what were u thinking about buying?

Ultimately,
I wanted to order a muffler, since I can't find any "silencers" for my aftermarket exhaust.
I purchased the car with a performence exhaust and it makes way to much noise for my liking.. I didn't ask him the brand or anything because this car was my first car, thus I didn't know much about cars :P

Anyway, I wanted to put a "silencer" like on the youtube videos, but I couldn't find anywhere where I could purchase that.. so I guess im stuck changing the whole muffler..

Shipping to canada from the states is always going to be more then shipping in the states, even going USPS it is a bit more.

When shipping UPS and Fedex there will also be broker fee's that the shipper will have to pay or you will have to pay when the shipping company delivers the package. UPS will ask for the fee's and duty tax payment before they will even put it on a truck to deliver it.
