Custom Intake?

i already have the filter and piping. i just need to hook up the MAF sensor. and im done. i think?

make your own intake.. if not, atleast do the cone filter mod.. it's cheap, doesn't hurt, and makes a cool suction sound. .even for na cars. try it out.

heat shield would help. i have an ebay intake on my 2.8 without a heat shield and on a hot day i get tons of heat soak... but im just too lazy to make one so no its not completely necessary but it is definitely worth it

if you have a front mount, it's not as big of a deal but if you run a V6 then you'll need a good heat shield

What do you mean set it up? It just needs to be in the intake piping.
