Problem with this route is that the mileage would be different from the actual mileage of the car, right? Does anyone know if there's anyway to fix the "missing" lines/pixels off of the LCD display so that we would retain the actual mileage reading? I assume I can always go the ebay route and then have the stealership change the mileage, right? But I assume the stealership would charge AT LEAST 1 hour = $125 to do this?

i would pull the cluster off and check the connections, re solder if u need to, my dimmer switch was screwed up i pulled off my cluster, de soldered my dimmer switch cleaned and tightened it and re soldered it on with better solder, works perfectly now.
