Are you running them in projector housings? You need to check your aiming if you're getting flashed with the projectors. I run 55W ballasts and have never been flashed.

You can get resistors to prevent the bulb out warning

You don't happen to have a quick link on a DIY to put in the resistors do you?

I have a 55w 6000K slim kit from DDM and love them. If you're getting flashed, just lower your beams a little.

If you put an HID kit in your high beams, you've gotta consider that you're going to be wearing down the ballasts a lot faster. Every time you flash your high beams, push the stalk forward, etc, you're wearing them down. They don't like to be flicked on an off.. just something to consider.

they're aimed properly, people are just twits lol... i couldn't run hid in the high beams, you won't be able to flash because you'll have to charge the bulbs each time. i don't get the bulb out warning, but that's because i don't have that feature cause my car's old as dirt. i got the raptor kit because it was cheaper, i don't care about the size since i'm mounting them under the hood. my depo projectors have space for them on the bulb caps, i mounted them to those. i mean they work great, never had a problem, but they're really really bright. my projectors aren't the greatest, but i have a nice cutoff. if i put them down any lower, i can't see in front of me.

if they're nonprojectors, you prob don't want to run hids.

The depo headlights are projector so yes you can use them with hids.

Theres some guides online, the depo's won't exactly fit without shaving part of the fender in your car I believe in the older non facelift a4's. check some other websites for the guide

you have to shave for any 2 piece to 1 piece conversion, not just depo lights
