Default Dealership 'Pinch Bolt' Solution...

Was googling some suspension videos and happened on this....

Looks like the dealers have a special tool to drive out the dreaded pinch bolt and separate the front upper CA's...

Just thought I'd share

Gee that's a lot of tool for that job. I always thought this guy at Passat World had a good solution, for a whole lot less money.

Leave it to the Germans to come up with a solution like that. Reminds me of a DIY tool a guy posted on Garage Journal a while back.

Yeah, that looks a little bit more civilized than my solution. Though mine makes quick work of pinch bolts.

Gotta get me one of those. I have to extract a pair of mangled pinch bolts from a set of A6 uprights and I'm not looking forward to it at all.

That air gun makes doing suspension work a hell of a lot less scary, and saves a lot of time.

How or were can u buy that tool for the suspension arm bolt
