dude thats not an authentic K04 so if you want to have to buy a new one in about a year after installing i wouldnt get it....you need to find a Borg Warner K04-015 a new one is about 1k.....and WTF are you getting a boost controller for!?!? giac has a set psi and you will confuse the **** out of the ECU

 

how can you tell?

 

first off its way too shiny to be official...next where the serial number should be....it should look just like your old k03 just different numbers....and its missing the BLUE painted metal surrounding the serial numbers on the k04 and k03

 

^^yeah we had a thread on this a while back the ebay stuff is crap, it may look like a
ko4 but its not. the cheapest and most reliable place would be gpopshop.com they sell actually ko4's among other turbos.

note the blue tag containing a serial number and the letter k stamped inside the triangle. that one is genuine. yours is, im afraid not.
