Default Defouler Mod and Smog

If I was to do the defouler mod, it tricks the 02 sensor, but if we are required to do smog (Cali), will it pass, or will they say no because of it? Cause I would really love to do a high flow cat or dp, but don't want to deal with the hassle of changing my exhaust every time i need to do a smog check. So would it pass or fail?

i think you might fail horribly but thats just my inexperienced opinion... the labree HFC i have shouldnt have passed smog but it did. Talk to brent at labree motorsports about a HFC and DP

YA it just tricks the sensor so you dont have a CEL. Youll fail the smog test w/ a test pipe. Best bet is put in the HFC and not have t worry about it. The hFC should remain functional, its a larger diameter to allow better flow.

Yea, I was thinking HFC with the Defouler mod. If I can do this with it passing smog, then my plans for mods will be eeeexcelent!

Antifouler on a testpipe wouldn't, they have visual inspections in Jerz. HFC should be fine though
