anyone have a diagram of the hoses that connect to the intake manifold on a 99 2.8?
Preferrably looking to see where the hose from the LDP goes to the intake.

hmmmm,......my father inlaw lent me his drop light and I was able to find a disconnected hose just dangling by the firewall.

Hopefully this is the reason for my EVAP CEL light

The circular thing ( kombi valve )? has a nipple sticking up. This hose as a 90degree end on it and based on the length of the hose looks like it connects there.

So I plugged it in. Meanwhile I dont even know what it is. reset the CEL and lets see if it comes back up

I had to remove the coolant expansion tank in order to thoroughly look back there.

Theres another hose thats disconnected and I cant seem to find where it goes.
I plan on asking someone in the neighborhood with a 99 2.8 to open their hood up so I can see where that hose connects to.

Im thinking its related to my cruise control not working.

im not artist but hopefully this helps. The red lines are the actualy hoses im talking about. At the end of the red line I drew a black line to represent the plastic hose on it. Looks like one of the hoses goes to bank 1 and the other i assume bank 2.

Gawd,... it sucks but its also fun trying to fix these little things.

 

If you get a couple clear pix I can try and help I have a 30v 2.8 and I can take some to compare. If it ends up having anything to do w/ cruise please let me know! My cruise works but it occasionally fades out lol its really weird but it literally fades. Sometimes it wont activate but usually it does.
