Thumbs up Did the fog light mod today

Always wanted the fog light mod, i think its definitely something everyone should do, i think its pretty nifty and costs you nothing other then 30 minutes of your time ( assuming you have a soldering iron and solder ).

Heres a couple of pics of the relay:

If you want step by step instructions - use this: 4/8/00 NYC Spring Fling & Day @ the Dragstrip (Englishtown Raceway)

Theres 4 different combinations you can run them without having headlights on, i have pictures of only 1 and 3, didnt bother taking more.

1. Only Fog Lights using 1st fog switch

2. 2nd Fog switch turns on fog lights and rear fog lights

3. Use foglight switch to turn on fogs, move headlight stalk up one, you will then have, fogs on, front parking lights on, and rear lights on.

4. Hit 2nd fog switch, and move headlight stalk up one position, you will now have fogs on, front parking lights on, rear lights on, and rear fogs on.

Edit: One more i forgot is you can now also do headlights, highbeams and fogs all on.

Only Foglights on:

That's nice, especially if you have 3k HID in the fogs. I gotta put this on my "to do" list. I've never soldered before, but I do have a soldering gun and solder. Is it doable by a rookie?

Yeah, the biggest pain in the *** was removing the relay, opening it up and putting it back in.

Lol, its really simple, i hate soldering too and i try to do as little as possible, but once you have a technique down this was easy.
