I have a 1997 audi a4 and im wondering if 1998-2002 models have any better audio speakers. I heard S4 speakers are premium speakers and might actually sound better than regular(1997) audi a4's. please correct me.
If yes, can i install S4, TT or early 2000 model speakers in my 97 audi a4?

I believe the S4's come stock with the Bose. There are also some A4's that come with the Bose package.

The Bose setup comes with extra speakers on the rear doors and a subwoofer with a different amp. Of course the sizes of the speakers are also different.

 

yea, i got a bose package too. I found some 1999 and later audi A4's and S4's for parts and wanted to know if its advisable to replace my Bose speakers with a later model bose speakers.
Im assuming bose has upgraded their speakers after 1997 and believe S4 comes with premium bose speakers. So wanted to know if i can replace my stock bose speakers with S4/A4 (1999 or later) speakers. Is there any audio quality difference?
