Engine block and head w/perfect compression and oil pressure including new flywheel and clutch (170k without turbo/manifold)
Throtle body ~ $100
Intake manifold ~ never sold one
Exhaust manifold ~ not even worth it
4 coil packs ~ depends in if they are newer than the engine maybe $10 ea
ICM (newer Huco brand) ~ no idea
Tranny (shifts fine, no grinding) ~ local ~250-300 shipping sucks
Turbo (no shaft play) ~ $25-150 if you get luck
EvoMS DV ~ no idea
New front rotors (stock) ~ always threw mine out
New engine mounts ~ i trash mine
Airbox ~ Trash the box, keep electronics separate
radiator ~ if it is with the support its worth alot more
Sport steering wheel ~ $250ish shipped w/airbag
Black sport cloth interior (very good shape including dash, door panels, and trim) ~ never done cloth or a dash... keep seats and door panels together for 300-400
facelift headlights ~ mine are always broken
Speed Tuning ECU ~ check ebay
Sway bar links (new) ~ not sure
Front pass. half shaft (brand new never installed) ~ i toss em in with trans
Drivers side half shaft (boots not torn)
headlight/combination switch ~ on dash or column?
Steering rack (no leaks) ~ low miles?
Power steering pump ~ people are too paranoid
AC compressor ~ sell with lines for 100-200 i think
Coolant tank ~ always threw mine away, but i guess they are worth a little bit
Gauge cluster ~ $100-300
HVAC unit ~ $125ish
Non sport springs ~ junk
Radiator
Side view mirrors ~ any rust one them? take offers...
Anything else..

not sure about it being a 97 though... i usually deal with 99-01 and they are always wrecked and always front damage for some reason
gauge clusters seems to fluctuate a fair bit...
Chasis, engine, etc. is the same for 97-99, and mostly the same for 00/01. Thanks. Is parting out cars your day job?
I'm honestly just curious to see what kind of profit I could make by doing this since I got the car for so cheap. Then I could find another steal, rinse and repeat until I end up with an RS4. I'm just getting antsy... This is a "project car" and I'm at that part of the project where you sort of want to jump ship because it's never ending. It needs control arms and shocks BADLY to be a solid DD, and I'm not motivated to spend money on those things right now.

A part out would be more lucrative. Since it handles like poop on a roller skate, the test drive would be pretty disappointing for any potential buyer and they'd low ball me to death. It's not terrible, but control arm creeks/clunks and the way the rear end sits after coming to even a slow stop is laughable.
