does anyone know what this is, it right behind the airbox and looks to be connected to a vacuum line
help please its falling apartttt

check valve, only allows airflow one way. that particular one goes to your charcoal cansiter. theres a evap solenoid right next to it. when that solenoid opens, it sucks gas vapor from your tank

check if you closed your gas cap correctly, it might be why you got a check engine light

no, i ripped mine completely out, you dont need it. if you unplug that evap solenoid though, youll get a light from that

OE part number is listed below the picture. You're also going to want to pick up some hose clamps, as I see you've still got some of those lovely one-time-use crimp clamps on there. I'm of the opinion those were forged from pure evil and their only purpose is to make mankind angry.
