i am about to buy some used one piece headlights and i know that i will need to trim the fender and do some wiring modifications but where could i buy this: http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4-..._Harness/ES86/ cheaper. $60 seems a lot for something like that...

 

It's really nice if you don't like to wire or just lazy like myself! But I found that very useful cuz the wires come labeled for what they go to but if you don't wanna spend the $60 you could always just test what wire is what

but even if i do test to see what wire goes where, where do i get the little plug? or do i just connect the wires together which wont let me remove the lights in the future?

 

Just shell out the $60. It'll hurt until you see how easy it makes everything and the improvement in looks.

 

Yeah I hard wired my e-codes on my last car, and I wouldn't do it like that again. Its just messy.
