Default driveshaft support bearing "fix"

Hello every one i have a messed up Center drive shaft support bearing i saw on a site that a guy used window weld took the heat shield off and more or less just filled in the bearing with window weld he said this worked fine and held for 3+ years and still going strong but it seams a little sketchy is a word for it i mean if it doesn't work i have to buy a whole new drive shaft any way but has any one tried this or know if it might hold. any input is greatly appreciated thanks

It's a bit of a sketchy fix, if you don't get it centred just right it could cause vibrations and all that. 034 motorsports and a few other places sell replacement support bearings, it's not advisable to change it out yourself, you should pull the driveshaft and bring it to a driveline shop.
