drop springs

i have a 99 1.8t quattro with sport suspension

what springs do you guys recomend for a good drop(i have 18's) and a good ride with stock or better handling

remember just buying springs for the look and handling, i also don want a sh!tty ride

what springs and where do you get em?

H&R race with Bilstein(SP) shocks.
or
Neuspeed Race with Bilstein shocks


and to get them, remember the internet is for more than just ****.

you can, and i think thats what i may do for a while, but i think it kinda makes the springs useless aside from appearence then. im not 100% on this though.

and i guess it'll look good, but if it rides and handles shitty i wont do it

I belive you can get the H&r's from there website. but also check out the stores listed in the good sites thread.


YOu'll be lloking at around $800 to do it right.


Yes you can run them on stock shocks but the preformance will be decreased since they are not as stiff as needed and depending on how lucky you are your stock shocks will last you anywhere from 2 months to I've heard 2.5years.

Springs alone will run you ~360 from H&R

your stock sport suspension is gonna go to **** after a while with your car lowered

im getting h&r and bilsteins on my car

try awe tuning

I would get coilovers if i were you, that way you can adjust the ride height anytime you needed to.
