Default Dual Turbos??

Is it conventional or even possible to dual turbo a 1.8? Im planning to mod a 1.8t to have the body of an RS4 with the heart of a 1.8 and don't know what turbo setup to use . . . Dual Ko4s?? GT28RS? or a . 64 GT2871R?

you can do like a big turbo and a small turbo but you wont need that its more of a lag thing on the turbo

honestly you dont want to go any bigger than a gt2871r your gonna haft to change the clutch get a chip and blaw blaw unless you have time and money i wouldnt do it the best way to go and the cheapest is the K04 turbo you will be pushing more than 250hp with a chip

The base RS4 has 261 bhp, I'm shooting for at least 450 and I kno all the changes that have to come with the ladder turbo. I just want boost throughout most of the powerband.

dude, your best bet is to go threw the stickies, search on other forums aswell, you will get your answer, but by your questions, seems like you don't know to much about the 1.8t platform. I suggest you do some more reasearch, go threw the stickies, use the wonderful google.

Ok. On a motor that small you need to find a small turbo that will be pretty much spooled just about right off idle. With a motor that small it'll be a bitch. That's the whole point of a small turbo feeding a big turbo. The small turbo NEEDS to be pretty much spooled right off idle or you'll loose the advantages of the system.
