i was changing my oil the other day with a buddy right in front of my house and all was going good. i drained the ****, kept the spills to a minimum. i then proceeded to fill up with new oil, only to realize i had forgotten (somehow, its still beyond me) to put the drain plug back. yeah i spilled a quart of oil ($7.49) all over the ******* street, and as i panicked to catch the spilling oil i jerked the oil catcher tub thing and spilled about half a quart of dirty oil on top of everything else. in summary, i made a HUGE ******* mess and wasted a quart of mobil1. dumbassed thing to do, i know, but hey it'll never happen again as i will obsessively check from now on to make sure the plug is back in before filling up haha.

Thats why you dont change oil with a buddy. They distract you.

at least you didnt drain the trans lol
