DV Help
If you look at the valve with the small nipple being the top, you want the inlet on the side of the valve housing to go into the intercooler pipe and the inlet on the bottom of the valve housing to go to the intake hose.
Are you sure that it should be at the bottom for a piston type?
I'm using a Forge replica and I have the pressure connected to the side of it and it works great. And I also read on the forge website that this is the correct way to hook it up.

Although the valve can be fitted in either orientation, I would suggest that you fit it, THE SAME WAY ROUND AS THE ORIGINAL BOSCH VALVE. Recent tests have proven this gives a far quieter operation.
Forge used to sell a DV that was an exact copy of the stock bosch valve using a diaphram, that valve had to be installed just like the stock.
