DV Pros & Cons
So im looking to upgrade my DV this week, and wanted to see what you guys thought about the 710N vs Forge 008. Basically I am wondering if the money invested in the Forge is really worth it or not. I have the stock DV on now, and my B5 has 157k on it and it has never been changed
... Will I notice much of a difference with a new DV? I am also wondering how easy it is to DIY DV install, I am just starting to work on my car the last couple months with really no experience with working on cars >.<.

The 710N can't be serviced, the Forge can. You can also adjust the spring rate in the DV to compensate for higher levels of boost.
The Forge will also be noticeably louder, at least if you're chipped. I don't know about at stock boost levels.
Since you're a 2001, your DV will be a lot easier to get to than the earlier years. Do a search and you'll find DIY articles on how to change it.
