I swapped engine on 1998.5 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro (AEB). The first one seized because of the infamous sludge build-up. Found one at an auto salvage and swapped it out making sure all connections were right (I labeled them before disassembly). Since the battery was dead, I put a new one in. Trying to reset the airbag & check engine light, my ProDiag is telling me there is no connection to the ECU. I checked fuses, all connections, etc. I am also not getting power to the radio, and the alternator light remains on. Any one out there that can help me out with some ideas?

It's also a 1.8 liter turbo from an audi A4 engine code AEB (same as original).
