Does the ECU relay provide power to the crank position sensor? Also, from searching the forum, I getting mixed reviews on the location of it. Mine is not right next to the ecm like some have posted. Any info would be much appriciated. Thanks again.

 

What engine you got, what year? I have an 2001 a4 1.8 and mine is under the driverside wiper inside the ECU box.

 

It's a 99 w/ an aeb 1.8. I've looked in the ecu box and it's not next to the ecm like I saw in a pic on here.

 

I have heard that it can be under the ECU.
