Default Eibach spring mystery solved

When I bought my 2000 1.8 fwd years back I noticed it had Eibach pro-kit springs. Looking at the Eibach website, there are none designed for my specific model. This is why the back looks noticeably higher in the back and the suspension feel overall is super stiff. Looking to get the correct springs for my specific model like Tein H tech. Hopefully they will feel a lot softer and even out the ride height.

I think Eibach simply discontinued the springs, because my '98 A4 FWD came with Eibach springs.

After that I had Bilstein Sport struts and Tein S-Tech springs... that setup was quite stiff and low. H-Tech appears like it will be softer and taller so could make a good combo.

Hmm that's interesting and strange why they'd discontinue the pro-kits for the fwd 1.8. I'm going to get in there the next time I rotate the tires to check if I can see a part number and see if I can find which model they were meant for.

Lots of companies are clearing out their inventories of fwd-specific parts, I've seen tons of springs, shocks, exhausts, etc heavily discounted in the last year or so. My guess is they've stopped making them a while back due to dropping demand.
